Background:

The Montana Public Health Association (MPHA) regularly receives submissions from members and outside agencies with requests to post information on the Montana Public Health Association website (www.mtpha.com).  Website submissions will be strategically and thoughtfully considered.  The following outlines the criteria by which website submissions will be considered and the process through which a decision to post to the website will be made.

Policy:

The Montana Public Health Association Executive Board grants the President and the Executive Secretary the full decision-making power regarding website submissions.

·         Suggestions for website submissions can come from anyone. These suggestions should be sent in writing to the President and the Executive Secretary.

·         The President and the Executive Secretary will review the submissions utilizing the below criteria.

·         If deemed necessary by the President the request can be brought to the full Executive Board for discussion and a vote.

The criteria used by the committee will be based on the following. We will consider posting a submission on the website IF:

  • The submission would directly impact association members.
  • The submission is directly related to the mission, vision and strategic goals of the Montana Public Health Association.
  • The requestor is an active MPHA member.

If the submission is a job posting the position will only be posted if the request is submitted by a current Montana Public Health Association member.
