The Public Health & Safety Division of the DPHHS is collaborating with the University of Montana School of Public and Community Health Sciences to offer the Certificate of Public Health Program. This program will include four core public health courses provided through the University of Montana.
The PHSD will pay 50% of tuition/fees, books, and application costs for individuals accepted into the program. For more information or questions please contact Jackie Tunis, PHSD Workforce Training and Development Coordinator, at firstname.lastname@example.org 406-444-7374.
Please share this information with staff that you believe would be interested in participating. Both your staff’s supervisor and you as the Lead Local/Tribal Public Health Official will need to approve your staff’s application.
The certificate program will start in the Fall of 2017. Applications are due to the PHSD by January 6th, 2017. There are 30 slots available for state and local health department staff so please have staff apply as soon as possible!
